On July 16 - 18th, the members of the House of St. Joseph the Workman gathered at the Visitation Monastery for their annual retreat. Fr. Isaac Francis traveled from his community in Peru to lead the spiritual exercises. He is a former member of the group of consecrated lay people dedicated to promoting holiness in their daily environment by the witness of their lives of prayer, healing and service. Next year will mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the foundation of their community, which will be observed with joyful celebration.
