| We had a beautiful retreat for Secular Carmelites at the Visitation Monastery the first weekend of October. Fr. Bonaventure, OCD, led the retreat and held several conferences on the evangelical counsel of obedience. Communities' from Fort Walton, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Madison and Mobile were all represented. Three Seculars received the large ceremonial scapular indicating their official entrance into formation. One member from the Mobile community made her final promises.
